Sparrow’s music combines honest lyrics with memorable melodies that you’ll want to listen to again and again.
After a long stint in Los Angeles, as the lead singer and rhythm guitarist of The Whiskey Saints and Burning Jet Black, Sparrow returned to Maryland in early 2019 and has been playing shows up and down the East Coast.
“One Night in April” (produced and engineered by Timothy Bracken) is the latest full-length release (May 2024). It’s a stripped down “live” album attempting to capture some urgency from a newly compiled body of work.
Sparrow’s third album “Things You Tell Yourself” begins production in May 2026 at Shiahma Studios in San Luis Obispo, CA with an anticipated Fall 2026 release.

"Anyone who has been in a band knows that it takes a lot of work. It's like a relationship with not just one other person, but maybe 2 or 3 other people. 'Now' is what happened to someone who started a band and was unceremoniously kicked out via social media.
It's a comment on our growing detachment from each other when difficult issues come up that should be discussed instead of just reacted to."
